We offer 3 Lawn Fertilization packages, Emerald, Sapphire and Jade, designed with 7 to 9 applications of a combination of lawn fertilizer and weed control (as required), which are applied every 4 to 8 weeks starting early Spring.
Multiple applications help to control broadleaf weeds and create a lush, healthy, green lawn. We can handle everything from small yards to large acreages.

Pre-emergent needs to be applied in late fall as well as late winter and early spring to stop weeds before they have a chance to breach your soil.
While pre-emergent weed control treatments are extremely effective at controlling the bulk of the weed seeds germinating in your lawn, there is always a chance that particularly pesky weeds will slip through. If you find that they’re still appearing even after applying pre-emergent weed control, then that means it’s time to apply a post-emergent to get rid of any stragglers.
Spring is a time for growth for your plants and grass as well as the pesky weed seeds in your lawn. A pre-emergent weed control treatment is effective against newly germinated seeds—it does not work on seeds that are past a certain point in the germination process. What this treatment does is inhibit both the weed’s root and shoot growth by essentially creating a barrier that prevents them from penetrating the soil. Eventually, they will die because they cannot breach the soil and further their growth and development.
Dry fertilizers are safe and don't wash away. They are slow-release, adding essential nutrients only when your lawn needs them. So instead of getting short bursts of growth, as you would with chemical fertilizers, the result is a green lawn with steady growth.
All fertilizers include three main ingredients: nitrogen (provides the green color and encourages thick, denser shoots), phosphorus (stimulates growth and healthy roots), and potassium (strengthens cell walls and helps with resistance to droughts, fungus, and severe weather). All very important for the lush look and health of your grass.
When you fertilize your lawn with our customized blend of fertilizer, you will begin to see a noticeable difference very quickly. Our custom-blended fertilizers are made specifically for grass in the North Carolina region.
Granular fertilizers should be applied at 20 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft.
Foliar feeding or liquid fertilizer, provides an additional way of getting nutrients to
your plants and grass. It's been proven that plants can absorb micronutrients
through their foliage, which makes them immediately available to the plant, and
often shows immediate results. Foliar feeding increases plant energy,
photosynthesis and absorption of nutrients.
Applying it in the summer, when plants start to yellow from the heat, can help to
give them a quick green up! We use a blend of compost tea, liquid seaweed and
molasses to give your plants the nourishing boost they deserve.
For maximum results you can add a compost topdressing to your lawn in the
Spring, Fall or Winter while the grass is dormant. It will protect the roots from the
cold weather and nourish the soil, which causes the grass to stay greener in the
fall and come out earlier in the spring. Most lawns are thicker and free of weeds,
diseases and pests.
With just one treatment a year you will be able to fertilize less, or not have to at
all. The addition of compost to your soil will also improve water retention, so you
can water less!
We use 100% organic compost. Compost is a living fertilizer and the key to any
organic program. One of nature's best made substances, compost is high in
nutrients, humus and microorganisms. Compost can be used safely on all plants
and lawns without worrying about burning or harmful chemicals being present.
The benefits of compost to your soil, lawn and plants is tremendous and will yield
greater long-term results than any chemical. Topdressing can be applied at 1/4"
or 1/2".
